Welcome to the Center Church!
We believe we follow the vision God has given us. He wants us to share the Good News of His salvation and our redemption with everyone. Christ teaches us that He is the head of the church, and we are all members of that body, and that each of us contributes to the church with their gifts and talents. We are God’s family learning to follow the triune God and His plans for our lives!
The Protestant Church is the third largest Christian Church, alongside the Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches. The beginnings of Protestantism date back to the 16th century, when the Reformation movement within the Western Christian Catholic Church happened.
Evangelical churches make up a subgroup within Protestant Christianity.
We believe that the Holy Scripture is the Word of God, the infallible and the sole authority in matters of faith. We believe that Jesus Christ gave His life for our salvation. He died for all our sins, and through accepting His sacrifice, we get salvation and eternal life. The only path to salvation is through Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Believers confirm their personal faith through water baptism by immersion, which occurs after they come to faith (credobaptism). The Church encourages and helps the spiritual growth of all believers and their progress in their Christian life. The change Jesus brings to all is reflected in the lives of believers.
Believers are devoted to the virtues of Christian life and assisting with the activities and work of the Church.
The Church Pastor is one of the believers with a duty commissioned by God to run the Church and care for its members.
As of February 25, 2016, our Church is registered under its full name Evanđeoska crkva u Srbiji-Centar crkva Beograd, Volume 1, Section VII, registration number 3, in the Register of Churches and Religious Communities with the Ministry of Justice, as an organizational unit of the Evangelical Church in Serbia.
